It was the first time in my life that I had attended a service that had spiritual substance. The scriptures were read, but the spiritual messages you gave along with them, which made them relevant to our lives in the present, added the touch of depth that has been missing for me. If I were living in your area, I would definitely come every Shabbat, not only because of the service, but the closeness and concern of the people also, and the making sure that the next generation gets prepared to take over. I also enjoyed the women taking a much larger part in the service, which had been foreign to me in he past.

    Hi it's Jen.  Thanks soooo much for having us all in for services last night.  we haven't really been together as a class (well, half a class!) in who knows how long and haven't seen you in forever!  The service was really nice - we all loved the guitar and even though many of the prayers were the same, the service seemed much less rigid then at Beth Jacob.  Anyway, it was a great night!  This is my e-mail address that I check a few times a day so keep in touch - I never DON"T respond to an e-mail!
